| How is it packed | In an aesthetic gift box |
| Hand luggage | No; use checked luggage |
| Shipping | The team can show you how |
The box
The knife goes into aesthetic packaging made for gifting, so you can hand it over as it is if you made it for someone else.
Checked luggage only
Put the box in checked luggage and not in carry-on. Airlines and countries have their own rules about blades, so check yours before you fly.
Shipping instead
The team can teach you how to ship the knife home. It is worth asking about before you leave the workshop if your bag is already full.
Protecting the edge
A freshly sharpened edge is best kept in its box and wrapped in a soft towel inside your case.
The key-holder
The custom key-holder is a small extra that fits in a day bag, so it can travel with you on the flight.
At home
Keep the knife dry and in its box when you are not using it, and you will have a worthwhile edge to build on in your own kitchen.
